An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a work-based mediation program designed to enhance the emotional, mental and general psychological wellbeing of employees and includes services for immediate family members.
EAP is preventative by design by providing proactive interventions that enable early detection, identification and an opportunity for resolution of both work and personal problems that can affect performance and wellbeing.
EAP is available to employees of organisations that have negotiated an agreement with Centacare FNQ.
You can access confidential counselling support provided by independent, qualified and professional counsellors.
The provision of EAP will be negotiated with Centacare FNQ and your employer.

All EAP consultations are strictly confidential. This means no information will be shared about you unless authorised by you in writing or required under Australian law. In the case of a workplace issue, you may authorise your counsellor to discuss specific issues/information with your manager or another person to help address the situation.
