Centacare FNQ Support Coordinators - Meet the team!

Centacare FNQ has been registered NDIS service provider since 2018 and making a difference in the Cairns community since 1981. We have a lot of local knowledge and ever growing networks.

Our NDIS Support Coordinators have significant experience working with people who have psychosocial disability. We value the diversity of our community. Our team has culturally and linguistically diverse Support Coordinators who can speak up to12 languages including English! So, we work with NDIS participants who experience the challenges of having recently made Australia their home.

Once you have received a NDIS Plan, a Support Coordinator will work with you to utilise your plan to best meet your needs and provide guidance to address your goals. Whether that be to live more independently, increase your skills and understanding around your NDIS plan, we are here to help. 

Using a collaborative approach, our team can support NDIS participants to:

• Understand their plan, including which supports and services you can pay for with your NDIS funding
• Implement service agreements and support to meet their needs and achieve their goals with the providers of their choice. 
• Connect with community formal and informal supports as well as government services
• Answer any questions, concerns, or be a general point of contact if something in your life changes
