Centacare FNQ has celebrated 40 years of making a difference in Cairns and The Far North
Centacare FNQ celebrated their long history and ongoing commitment to Cairns and The Far North in an intimate event on the Verandah and Lawns of the Bishop’s House in Cairns with local dignitaries, community members, staff and supporters.
Providing a range of services to the community across Aged Care & Disability Support, Mental health & wellbeing and Multicultural Services Centacare is proud of being local and focusing on meeting community needs.
With local Faith and Cultural Community leaders in attendance the diversity of our local community was celebrated in dance and performance.
The popular “School Savvy” annual appeal was launched by Michael Healy MP during the evening with donations already flooding in for this years pop up store.
Centacare Executive Director Anita Veivers said “ we had a wonderful evening, it was great to see so many people mingling and having fun, helping us to celebrate not only 40 years of service to the community, but hopefully 40 more to come”.
