Centacare Multicultural Services is seeking multiple casual Case Manager’s to provide case management settlement services as part of the Humanitarian Settlement Program. This will include information, referral, and case management support to clients from a refugee background.

The successful applicants will possess a degree level tertiary qualification relevant to the position and a passion for working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities. Applicants must have case management experience and be eligible for a Working with Children ‘Blue Card’, a Yellow Card or eligibility/exemption for suitability for working with people with a disability and be able to undergo a satisfactory National Police Check. Possession of a QLD driver’s licence is a requirement. 

This position offers a casual hourly rate of $41.3266 as well as excellent working conditions.

Project Officer - CentaOne

An NDIS Workforce Development Project

Full-time 38 hrs/week

12 month maximum term contract


Centacare FNQ is the social services agency of the Catholic Diocese of Cairns providing services to the community of Far North Queensland. CentaOne is an innovative new project developed by Centacare FNQ that aims to source, coordinate and support sole traders and small businesses to provide National Disability Insurance Scheme related services in rural and remote areas of Far North Queensland.

This position will be at the frontline of further developing the CentaOne project and will work with potential service providers and recipients in rural/remote areas to ensure the success of the project. We are seeking a person with the right blend of technical, business and people skills that reflect our dynamic organisational culture.

The successful applicant will possess a degree level tertiary qualification relevant to the position and/or demonstrated significant experience in project leadership roles.  Applicants must have, or be eligible for, a Working with Children ‘Blue Card’ and a Disability Services ‘Yellow Card’; be able to undergo a satisfactory National Police Check; and possess a Queensland driver’s license.

This position offers an attractive remuneration package (Centacare EA Level 5 – gross salary commencing at $74,482 p.a.) as well as excellent benefits and working conditions.
